Für Noah Becker, der in München geboren (1994) ist, in Miami aufwuchs und heute in Berlin und Los Angeles lebt, geht es in seinen großformatigen Gemälden auf Leinwand vor allem darum, geerdet zu sein und eine urteilsfreie Zone zu haben. Frei zu erforschen und zu erschaffen. Noah sagt, er habe mit dem Malen begonnen, um seine Gedanken zu beruhigen, die in einem Mischmasch von Themen und Texturen zu kollidieren schienen. Auf die Leinwand malt er die Landkarten dieser wachsenden Prozesse. Landkarten von Umgebungen, in denen er sich aufhält, von Menschen, denen er begegnet, und von Ideen, die er entwickelt – Gefühle und Erfahrungen von Erinnerungen, Gerüchen und vor allem Musik.
Seit 2017 stellt er weltweit u.a. in Berlin, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mallorca, Miami und Zürich aus.

For Noah Becker, who was born in Munich (1994), grew up in Miami and now lives in Berlin and Los Angeles, his large-format paintings on canvas are primarily about being grounded and having a judgment-free zone. Free to explore and create. Noah says he started painting to calm his thoughts, which seemed to collide in a mishmash of themes and textures. On the canvas he paints the maps of these growing processes. Maps of the environments he finds himself in, the people he meets and the ideas he develops – feelings and experiences of memories, smells and, above all, music.
Since 2017, he has exhibited worldwide in Berlin, Hamburg, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mallorca, Miami and Zurich, among others.
